Build for inclusion one of top 10 principles for gov.uk Digital by Default strategy.

As part of the UK Governments ‘Digital by Default’ strategy for ensuring the delivery of world-class digital public services that meet UK citizens needs, the Government Digital Service (GDS) have created 10 Design principles for an alpha release. They detail how the GDS team are starting to approach building and improving public  gov.uk digital services:

The following link (https://www.gov.uk/designprinciples) expand on these points in more detail, and it is clear from them that government public services are being designed for digital formats with a very explicit focus on users needs. And not just the needs of those who use the web already, but everyone in the country. These are obviously very positive principles for the design process of a national public service infrastructure that affects such a large audience.
